Stationery for the Ceremony

Your ceremony might only take 20 minutes, but it is some of the most memorable 20 minutes of your life! Your ceremony style reflects the two of you and sets the tone for the rest of the day - your ceremony stationery can play a big role in that too. Not only does it help guests know they are in the right spot, your stationery can be re-purposed later in the day.

This is your big day! Who doesn’t want a big ol’ sign with their names on?! Welcome your guests to your ceremony space, and let them know they are in the right spot (especially if you have guests who don’t know anyone else attending) with a welcome sign. This can be re-used at the reception too - just check with your venue or coordinator that they are happy to re-locate it! A few things to keep in mind: ceremony location: will your sign be getting moved and is there someone to do this for you / is it possible? Wind: signs are big and flat, they catch the wind very easily, even on a calm day, a slight breeze can knock over a foam board sign. You may like to hire one of my signage stands or have an easle to attach your welcome sign to.

Order of events

Used as a stand alone sign or incorporated with your welcome sign, an order of events sign is a great way of getting your guests excited for the day ahead! You can include a run down of the main events of the evening that your guests will want to know: ceremony time, bar opening time, entree, main and dessert time as well as the arrival time for your bus or function conclusion time. You can include other useful information like your wedding hashtag!
